Tango Touch was launched in 1996 by Zoomia Programutveckling HB. It began in Swedish and was soon followed by a Norwegian edition. It has been developed continuously as user needs and technical platforms have changed.

In 2014 the family business moved into its next generation when Vera IT was founded with the same aim: to create intuitive, useful tools for people who need support adapted to their situation. Tango Touch is now also available in Finnish and German.

Tango Touch 10 is available for Windows and macOS. It has built-in speech, so no external speech synthesizer is required. Speech can be disabled and the interface can be adjusted to the user.

Tango Kids was launched in 2023 as a child-friendly edition designed to make keyboard training clear and engaging for blind and low-vision children. It can also be used by other children who need basic keyboard training. Tango Kids 2 is currently available in Swedish.
